We should definitely be obeying the laws of the road all the time, but sometimes, we get it, it can’t be helped where an open road with no cars makes it very tempting to put pedal to the metal. Unfortunately, speed cameras are the bane of many a fast driver out there, but Google Maps has tried to solve this problem with speed camera alerts.

The feature has rolled out to some countries but according to Android Police, it has been reported that the speed camera alert feature is now rolling out to even more countries than before. Some users living in Denmark, Poland, and the UK are reporting that the feature is now live for them.

This is in addition to countries such as Australia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, the UK, and the US.

It is interesting that it is being integrated this late because ever since Google acquired Waze, we thought that the company would want to integrate Waze’s tech into its app, but for the most part, both apps have continued to remain separate. However, in more recent times, Google has been introducing some Waze-like features to Maps, such as traffic slowdown reporting.
